By using FileCollect ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including professionals (account holders) and clients (people who upload files via a request link).
FileCollect is a web-based tool that lets professionals collect documents from their clients via a shareable link. Uploaded files are delivered directly to the professional's own Google Drive. FileCollect acts as a conduit and does not retain permanent copies of uploaded files.
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to:
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
You (the professional) are the data controller for your clients' data. FileCollect is the data processor. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is included on every plan.
FileCollect uses the Google Drive API to deliver files. You authorise FileCollect to create folders and upload files to your Google Drive on your behalf. We request only the drive.file scope, which limits our access to files and folders that FileCollect creates. We cannot read, modify, or delete other files in your Drive.
FileCollect offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro, Team, Firm). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on our Pricing page and exclude applicable taxes (VAT). You can cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. Files already in your Google Drive are not affected.
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be billed.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment if you are not satisfied. Contact support@filecollect.io to request a refund.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including Google Drive outages, network issues, or force majeure events.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileCollect's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
FileCollect and its logo are trademarks. You retain ownership of all files you upload and all data you provide. We do not claim any rights to your content.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@filecollect.io.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the EU member state where FileCollect is established.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
